The artworks in the collection "Yours, Proudly" brings playfulness and curiosity together to celebrate queer pride. Hand drawn and animated frame by frame the characters within the collection are fun and whimsical yet informative and thought-provoking. Their vibrant hues mirror the rainbow flag's colors, symbolizing unity and diversity within the LGBTQ+ community. Each character possesses a unique narrative, intertwining to weave a compelling tapestry that encapsulates the essence of queer identity, culture, and history.
"Celebrate the vibrancy of life with 'She Comes in Colors' This artwork is a powerful ode to diversity and acceptance, splashing a spectrum of colors across the canvas. As radiant and varied as the people we share our world with, it reminds us that we all have a unique color to contribute to the grand artwork of humanity."
Skull takes PRIDE Collection
This is my first collection ever . I'm excited because this collection is for pride. This is a mix of my hand painted acrylic canvas blended with AI. I just started dabbling with midjourney so I thought why not mix the two. I hope you enjoy the art. I am a new artist so I hope to have more work in the future for you
The rainbow was first officially related to Pride in 1978 by Gilbert Baker, who made a rainbow flag for the Gay Freedom Pride Parade in San Francisco. It quickly became a symbol of hope and freedom for the diverse individuals that make up the LGBTQIA community. I am one of those individuals. I came out at 27 years old with 3 small children because I knew in order for me to raise my sons to the best of my ability, I needed to be the best version of myself. When you allow yourself to become authentic and begin to live your truth, something magical happens. You experience a type of rebirth. The hidden self comes out of the shadows and finds the warmth of love. This collection represents the transformation I wish upon every single person that is still hiding from living out loud in the embrace of a rainbow.
I was raised as a fourth generation Latter Day Saint (aka- "Mormon"). In the 1980's the Mormons were all over the news because of an "ancient" LDS document(s) discovered titled the "Salamander Letters". I highly recommend you google it, it's quite a story. This month is PRIDE. As mentioned before, I was a devout Mormon from birth, and at age 24 decided to leave all my old beliefs behind because- it was all a lie. I am a queer woman, and as a teenager suppressed these thoughts and feelings. I would start to pray or read my scriptures to have "clean & hetero" thoughts. I convinced myself I wasn't queer and I married a man at age 22. I was the first person in generations to leave the religion. I am free, and I finally feel like myself. Now that I've left mormonism, I'm discovering life and this planet in a whole new way. I was taught to fear the world, but now I'm the alien who's discovering it.

Illustrations are created using ball point pen and marker on paper, then scanned and made digital, these pieces represent my journey and emotions being a Trans person and artist. Photograph is 35mm film on Cinestill with a Ricoh XRP, created using a double exposure (picture of two separate images on one negative) The surreal blends with realism to bring up dialogue of dysphoria, power struggles, hiding in plain sight, and symbolism.
